Dear Mom and Dad, 
Well I started out thousands of dollars worth of equipment lost but as of today I have in my possession all the equipment
I'm signed for. I also have almost all my paperwork done, so I should e in real good shape by Feb, when the I.G. comes
around. I should get my pictures back in a week, then I'll send them to you. I am also going to send a package of
souvenirs home, please put them up for me. Also I am sending my Medal (Army Commendation) that I got at Fort Jackson. I
never got a chance to tell you but Merry Christmas.
