Letter Home

Dear Mom and Dad, 
Sorry about my writing on that last letter but I was about to fall asleep while I was writing it. I'm doing fine over here
except every now and then when I don't get quite enough sleep. After the 1st I'll be pretty well squared away on the
paperwork and things should be real easy going from then on. Our mess hall burned down here at Pleiku base camp last night.
It sure burned fast. One of the stoves blew up and started the fire. No one was hurt though. We're still working in and
around Dak To, Kontum, and North of Pleiku. I hope you all have a real good Christmas. we had a pretty good time even here.
I'll spend next Christmas there with you I hope. Go ahead and catch up those investments for me. I have to go now,
