Letter Home

Dear Mom and Dad, 
I had to take a platoon of clerks and other desk type people out for an operation today. It came off fairly well; except
that one guy had a heart attack, and I got a sun burned face, eye lids & all. Wow does that smart. I am so pooped
right now I can hardly think straight. After all that, we had to walk back to Pleiku, about 10 miles and we were already
tired out. Just 5 more days to the I.G. inspection. I just thought of something; if you can find some, send me a small
bottle of gun bluing and a wad of extra fine steel wool. I found the pictures, but the ones of me are still missing. I
think I'll stop for tonight.
