These 4th Infantry Veterans Need Your Assistance...
Bill Engelman
Company D, 4th Engr Bn
Looking for information on Co. D 4th Engr. Bn 4th Inf. Div 1968 Viet Nam. Need to find anyone who was in my platoon at any time between March ’68 and Oct ’68. Trying to get help with VA on Agent Orange and PSTD.
Bill Schwindt
Homer, Do you know of any HHC 1/8th rosters for late 67-68. We're looking for a
Doc Hudson who was with recon. But we don't know his first name. A roster would
show that so we could find him. Let me know,
If you can assist Bill, email Swamp_fox at the address below and I will forward it to him.
Wendel Whaley
Hello, I'm writing to you on behalf of my Grandfather Wendel Whaley, who served in Vietnam.
He was a SGT in the 25th Division, 3rd Battalion, 22 Infantry of the United States
Army. He worked with A, B, and C Companies for time to time, but mostly was in
charge of communications at Firebase Washington in 1969 in the Tay Ninh
Provence, Black Virgin Mountain, HHC Company. I am trying to locate anyone who may know or have some information on him.
He is currently and has been fighting the government for
over 10 years trying to get his disability through the veterans administration.
They have no record of him being over there and I am trying to find someone who
can help. If you have any information or any resources at your disposal that
could help me my grandfather that would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Roger Morgan
I served with the 704th Maintenance Battalion in Pleiku. I spent about 6
months on a permanent patrol sometimes called the Tiger Patrol. I am
trying to find proof of that the patrol. The time was 1969 to 1970.
I have made some contact with members of the unit, but still need one more
person, who knew of the patrol. If you could help me I would be grateful.
If you can give Roger any assistance, email me, at the address
below.
Jarvis Engbrecht
I served on the 704th Maintenance Battalion. Tiger Patrol from Aug 1969 to late
Jan or early Feb 1970.
I too would like to get some kind of confirmation that the patrols did indeed
exist.
I'll try and make contact with you again in a few days.
Thanks
Jarvis
If you can give Jarvis any assistance, email me, at the address

Archie Meadows
I am in need of assistance. I was sent from Fort Lewis to Pleiku, Vietnam in
1966. I don't remember any names, but need to find some people in my unit to
justify a PTSD claim. I delivered supplies to various forward areas and took
part in ambushes and attacks on the line at the base. I also had to sort body
parts for grave registry. As a support unit, I of course did not receive a
combat action ribbon. Who can I contact to obtain one? I would appreciate if you
could publicize my need to anyone who was there or provide anyone who can
contact me so I can eventually trace down a Roster of men in A Co. 4th S&T Bn. in
Pleiku during 1966, so I can get letters of support or assignment duties to
support my claim.
Thanks and I look forward to your reply,
If you can give Archie any assistance, email me, at the address

Francisco Terrones
My name is Frank and I served with 4th Admin company 4th Infantry Division at
Camp Enari from August 1967 to August 1968. I worked in the post office but
volunteered for the quick reactionary force. My duty evolved into civil affairs
and I ended up living in a bunker of a newly created Montagnard village a few
miles from Camp Enari. I only know it by a call sign (Romeo 82). I was young and
paid no attention to details, and now the VA wants me to come up with dates and
names to justify my claims for PTSD. First of all, my brass was AG (Adjutant
General) and as AG I could not be awarded the Combat Infantry Badge (CIB). I
need to know who was the commanding officer and first shirt were at the time. I
need to know how to obtain morning reports showing how I was assigned to these
other duties if that is possible. Since the civil actions team that I served on
consisted of different units from Camp Enari I would like some of them to
contact me. I do not remember their names except for Sgt Manning but I do not
even know what his was.
If you can help me I will provide more info.
If you can give Frank any assistance, email me, at the address
below.
