AIT - Advanced Individual Training. The second phase of training for the Infantry soldier. Sixteen weeks of field and classroom training to teach you your individual professional skills. There is a greater emphasis on classroom training than in BCT. Different MOS groups hold their own unique AIT training courses. This is where the Medic become a skilled medical professional, the Artilleryman becomes a qualified cannon expert, and the Infantryman becomes a skilled navigator and killer.

Yes Ma, they teach your Sunday School Choir Boy to kill their fellow human beings !!!!!
