Cover and Concealment - Cover is a position that offers protection from hostile fire. In a fox hole or a bunker for example. You may or may not be visible to the enemy. The earth or sandbags offer protection from bullets or shrapnel. Concealment means you cannot be observed by the enemy, but you may still be exposed to hostile fire. You generally want both cover and concealment on the battlefield.
