1 NOV 1968Dear Mom and Dad,
I should be getting $281.00 sent to the bank soon; also you should be getting an allotment for $80.00 a month and
a $18.75 bond. Take the money left after the bills to get insurance for the car and to order brake kits. If you
have any left over, just hold on to it till I tell you to and I'll send some to those investment people.
I sure hope you get that fruit cake here in time. We get fruit cake in C-rations, but it's not good.
Thinks are quiet over hare. We are going to search a village soon, but not much else.
Got to go now,
